Comparison of Czech Transformers on Text Classification Tasks

چکیده
In this paper, we present our progress in pre-training monolingual Transformers for Czech and contribute to the research community by releasing models public. The need such emerged from effort employ language-specific tasks, but found performance of published multilingual be very limited. Since are usually pre-trained 100+ languages, most low-resourced languages (including Czech) under-represented these models. At same time, there is a huge amount training data available web archives like Common Crawl. We have publicly released two compared them with relevant public models, trained (at least partially) Czech. paper presents procedure as well comparison on text classification task various domains.

Comparison of SVM and Some Older Classification Algorithms in Text Classification Tasks
Document classification has already been widely studied. In fact, some studies compared feature selection techniques or feature space transformation whereas some others compared the performance of different algorithms. Recently, following the rising interest towards the Support Vector Machine, various studies showed that SVM outperforms other classification algorithms. So should we just not bot...

the present study is an experimental case study which investigates the impacts, if any, of skopos on syntactic features of the target text. two test groups each consisting of 10 ma students translated a set of sentences selected from advertising texts in the operative and informative mode. the resulting target texts were then statistically analyzed in terms of the number of words, phrases, si...

there is less published research about how teachers in efl contexts respond to students who are relatively less mature and less competent l2 writers. while writing researchers have examined various issues concerning peer and teacher response in writing-oriented classes, little research has centered on the effect of collaborative tasks particularly dictogloss on writing skills. output collaborat...
